There are just too many things that human beings can not understand about. Humans do not fully understand everything in the universe or about planet Earth but we try to understand more and more each day.
That being said, out of everything unknown, I know some things such as the Earth is round, not flat like the paper world maps.
In theory, if the world was indeed flat, a boat sailing towards the end would just either hit a wall or “fall down”.
Well, that doesn’t happen.
Instead, the boat would seem to emerge out of the water.
Seeing shadows, seasons, and the presence of time zones provides further proof that the Earth is round as it rotates around the sun in 365 days and each rotation occurs every 24 hours at an angel of ~23.5 degrees.
The topic of space and the universe became very interesting to me as I learned more about the truth of Earth and space. However there are still many things I do not understand and may never understand. This is….
Is the universe finite or infinite?
This question seems almost impossible to answer since the universe is huge and we do not have the technology to travel such distance to find the answer. However scientist came to the conclusion that the universe is expanding. If the universe was finite and had a boundary, would the universe stop expanding? or if the universe was infinite and constantly expanding, what could it possibly be expanding into….. Is there something else beyond the universe, but doesn’t that mean the universe isn’t infinite then.
